Works on My Machine

A solo and online co-op game about shipping software under pressure

Works on My MachineVisit Project

Works on My Machine is a software-shipping game set in a stylized startup office. One to four players move physical tickets through coding, build, review, QA, CI, and deployment stations while deadlines, incidents, and server pressure accumulate during a short sprint.

Gameplay and Networking

I built the game with Godot and GDScript, supporting offline solo play and peer-to-peer cooperative sessions. Its host-authoritative networking uses GodotSteam and Steam Networking Sockets to keep the shared simulation consistent for two to four players.

The project includes keyboard, mouse, and gamepad input, generated low-poly art, adaptive music, accessibility settings, automated gameplay tests, and cross-platform release builds.

Result

The game turns familiar software-delivery problems into physical, collaborative challenges. Players must communicate, prioritize, and recover from incidents before the sprint timer runs out.
